Photochromic Lens – this is a lens that will adjust according to your environment. The lens will get brighter and darker which means in low light conditions they let more light in allowing you to see more structure and fish beneath the water’s surface.

Bright Conditions – Lens will become darker – cutting out more light and glare

Low Light Conditions (Early morning, late afternoon, cloudy day) – Lens will become lighter – letting in more light

In this short video Rhys shows you a Photochromic lens actually changing before your eyes. He covers one side up so it receives little light and brightens, whereas the other side is exposed to the sun and has darkened. When he pulls the cloth off you can see the shades of the activated and non-activated lens.

Incredible technology!
